Before Bringing Your Pet for Care

Before bringing your pet for care, we recommend that all necessary vaccinations are up-to-date and that your pet has been treated for internal and external parasites. We also suggest bringing your pet’s familiar toys and supplies to help them feel as at home as possible in our care.

Things to Remember When Bringing Your Dog or Other Pet for Care:

1. Behavior Issues

Please inform us of any behavioral issues to prevent accidents and to help us prepare accordingly. For example, special sensitivities or fears, resource guarding, or escape tendencies.

2. Dog Vaccinations

We require that dogs have a valid combination vaccine (parvo, distemper, and infectious hepatitis), as well as a rabies vaccination. We also recommend vaccination against kennel cough (parainfluenza virus).

Exceptions can be discussed if it is not possible or practical to vaccinate your pet.

We also accept puppies, but we recommend that they have had their first vaccinations.

3. Cat Vaccinations

We require that cats have a valid combination vaccine (feline panleukopenia and feline respiratory disease).
For outdoor cats, we recommend monitoring if the cat needs deworming.

4. Care Agreement

The care agreement can be filled out on-site or, if preferred, printed, completed in advance, and brought with you.

5. Pet Supplies

We use the hotel's own food and water bowls. The hotel also has beds, mats, and toys, but you are welcome to bring your pet’s own bed, toy, or blanket if you wish. Please also bring intact and safe harnesses or collars, and a leash for your dog. For your dog's safety, we prefer standard leashes over retractable leashes.
